Take The Team Challenge

The Irons Oaks Teams Course consists of numerous low-to-the-ground, on-site activities. Some of these initiatives can be easily duplicated right at your location!

Whether your group meets at Irons Oaks or at a mobile location of your choosing, you’ll find the activities require teamwork, trust, communication, and problem-solving skills. To help customize programming specifically for your group, facilitators select from these and a variety of challenges in their own toolbox of initiatives. Count on your Irons Oaks-certified facilitator to help your group to process, learn and grow from their experiences.



The purpose of the Teams course is:
  • To enhance the participants' sense of personal confidence and self-esteem.
  • To increase mutual trust and support.
  • To encourage more effective communication.
  • To develop teamwork skills which carry over into day-to-day living.

    • Group sizes Junior High 8 – 12 participants
    At Risk Youth 8 – 10 participants
    High School 8 – 14 participants
    College 8 – 14 participants
    Adult 8 participant minimum


    ½ Day Program (4 hours): Teams Challenge Course
    Student/Family: $245 per group
    $170 (park district residents)
    Non For Profit*/ Adult: $50 per participant
    Corporate*: $100 per participant
    Full Day Program (7 – 8 hours): Teams and Ropes
    Student/Family: $490 per group
    $340 (park district residents)
    Non For Profit*/ Adult: $100 per participant
    Corporate*: $175 per participant


    * Not for Profit and Corporate programs include indoor meeting space, catered meal(s) and our most experienced staff.
