Why team building? The purpose of the Irons Oaks Teams course is to enhance personal confidence and self-esteem, build trust and support, encourage effective communication and develop teamwork skills that carry over into day-to-day living and working environments.
The Irons Oaks Team Building Course is made up of a variety of low-to-the-ground activities and obstacles. Situated throughout 38 acres of beautiful old growth Oak trees, we provide a fantastic place to get outside and have fun with friends, co-workers and acquaintances. An Irons Oaks’ Facilitator will lead you through a customized program of 4 or 8 hours as you build on team successes as well as process, grow and learn from your experiences. Maximum group size: 250 participants per day.

Irons Oaks Adventure Center
The Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center Adventure Center is a special place dedicated to providing original, interactive and fun programming for groups of all ages, abilities and levels of aspiration. Our method focuses on teaching leadership and team skills while using our teams development course, two high ropes courses and a forty foot climbing tower. These and many more challenging activities encourage personal growth as well as team-strengthening interactions on a variety of levels. Our skillful facilitators work to help create a safe environment where you can test and develop these qualities and process the experience to see how it applies to real-life situations.
What are the Benefits of Team Building?
Team building creates strong bonds and encourages cohesion among a group of individuals. The group experiences personal growth, learns to creatively solve problems, cooperates with team members, and efficiently develops and achieves team goals.

- Climbing Activities (Climbing Tower, Crate Climbing, Power Pole)
Choose one or more of these activities to maximize your enjoyment of a beautiful day in the woods. You can create a multidisciplinary program by combining a challenge course activity with our interactive educational programming as well. Our Environmental Education Program offers a chance to learn more about natural area that we are situated in and is a great way for younger participants to get their hands dirty! Preparing the following information will streamline the process:
- Number of participants
- Participant population (teens, scouts, not-for-profit, etc.)
- Desired program and goals
- Ideal dates and times
- Contact and mailing information
Programs run rain or shine. Participants are required to sign a standard liability waiver. Program payment is due one month in advance of program date and can be done by cash, check (made out to Irons Oaks Adventure Center), credit card (Visa, Discover, or MasterCard) or PO with estimated payment date.
Cancellations must be made at least one month in advance.
