Irons Oaks is continuing our new tradition of transforming our park into a haunted trail for two nights. This years scheduled event is for Friday and Saturday, October 17th and 18th, 2008. We don’t need much, as our woods add plenty of creepy and unknown sensations for our guests. Our goal is to scare you silly while tempting your senses. With all those cookie-cutter haunted houses out there, why not try a thematic, hands-off haunted trail this year! 2008 Theme Our theme, for 2008, started off as a discussion of what happened to one of our favorite fairy tails after its main character defeats its nemesis. What happens when a catalyst is removed and the players in the game are forever changed by the preceding activities – when life, quite simply, carries on? What was once your only focus has been completely removed and a new way of life must be learned. Children are still children, no matter how grown-up they may have learned to be; left to their devices they can become restless and animalistic. On the same thread, an adult, having no leader, rules or laws which to abide can become outright hostile and anarchy develops. The world you think you know is no longer a fun, dream-like exploration. The rules have changed and nobody is safe…
