Nature Walk

Join us for a light hike around the grounds to discover seasonal happenings in nature.  Please pre register

Experience the forest from a whole new perspective, 30 feet up in the canopy with the birds! The High Ropes Course is a series of ropes, cables, boards, obstacle crossings and more! Whether you are overcoming a fear of heights or just looking for a new adventure, this program accommodates all. Pre-register by noon on Thursday.

All participants must be in 7th grade or higher and have an Irons Oaks Adventure Center waiver signed to participate. All participants must wear sturdy closed shoes. Please dress to be outdoors for the duration of the program. Program runs rain or shine with a minimum of five registered participants. Please meet facilitators in Vollmer Road Parking Lot (2453 Vollmer Rd, Olympia Fields).

$20 Residents/$30 Non-Residents.

Come hang outside with Irons Oaks Climbers on Wednesday nights and challenge yourself to the 35 foot Climbing Tower, Crate Climbing and Slack-Lining. These exciting full body exercises test your core and are adaptable for all skill and fitness levels. Drop-in program. Pre-registration not required.

Adventure Center Waivers are required.  Climbers under 3rd grade must have parent/guardian present. Please wear sturdy, closed toed shoes. Program runs rain or shine. Please park in Vollmer Rd. Parking Lot (2453 Vollmer Rd, Olympia Fields).

$10 per person, all you can climb!  Climbing is free when you register for Climbing 101.

Family Team Building Day

Did you know that July 23th is National Parent's Day?  Bond with your family and share a different and exciting experience to bring you closer together. Family Team Building Day sets your family up with unique challenges, obstacles and activities outside in our beautiful, shaded woods that is teaming with wildlife.  Will you spot a deer, a hawk or just what makes your family members unique and special to you?  Come and find out!  Please register by Friday, July 22nd by calling the Irons Oaks Main Office at 708.481.2330 and ask to sign up. 

$5 per household.
