Discovery Day
12/15/2019 - 2pm - 4pm

Join us for a free drop-in program for preschoolers and their families.  Explore our Discovery Center Nature Museum and take a self-guided hike of the grounds.  Your little one can make a nature craft to take home.  This program is free, however we request that you pre-register by the Friday before.

Winter Nature Camp

Have a blast exploring and playing in the snow!  We will have winter fun even if there is no snow on the ground.  Each day will bring a new adventure!  Before and after camp available.

Grade K-6

Family Winter Survival
1/25/2020 - 2pm - 4pm

Learn the basic supplies and skills you may need to survive a winter night outdoors.  Includes shelter construction and fire building.  Learn how well your family survived while we sip hot chocolate.  Fee is per household. Dress for the winter.  Not geared for children under 6 years of age.

Groundhog Day Hike
2/2/2020 - 1:30pm - 3:00pm

We are waiting for spring!  Will the Groundhog see his shadow and what does it really mean?  Take a guided walk through the forest to uncover the mysteries of wildlife habits in mid-winter.

Take our Groundhog Day quiz.  Make your predictions on when spring will really arrive.
